The Geraldton Wax with Pearl Earrings are handcrafted sterling silver earrings made in Adelaide, South Australia by Olivia Dryden. They belong to the Botanical Collection, a series of nature-inspired jewellery created from real flowers, plants and organic forms.

The design began with real Geraldton Wax flowers selected from my garden. Each flower was cast to preserve its fine petal shape, small central details and natural botanical texture in sterling silver.

Freshwater pearls hang beneath the silver flowers, adding soft organic lustre and gentle movement. The result is refined, floral and quietly expressive: botanical jewellery shaped by the garden, natural specimens and the handmade process.

Materials: Sterling silver and freshwater pearls.

Process: Each pair is handmade in small quantities using traditional silversmithing and casting techniques. The original Geraldton Wax flowers were cast in sterling silver, preserving their natural texture and structure. I carefully select two flowers that sit well together as a pair, though slight differences in form, finish and pearl character should be expected.

Dimensions: Flower: 15 mm. Pearl: 12 mm.

FAQ

Q1: Will each pair look exactly the same?
A: No. Each pair is made from real Geraldton Wax flowers, so the individual flowers will not be identical. I carefully select two flowers that sit well together as a pair, choosing pieces with a similar size, shape and overall character. The freshwater pearls may also vary slightly in shape, surface and lustre.

Q2: Is the Medium Crowea Earrings suitable as a gift?
A: Yes. Each piece is packaged in an Olivia Dryden Jewellery branded velvet pouch and is suited to collectors, nature lovers and those who appreciate handmade jewellery with story, detail and meaning.

Q3: How do I clean the Geraldton Wax with Pearl Earrings?
A: Avoid perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals, and gently polish the sterling silver with a soft jewellery cloth. Because these earrings include freshwater pearls, do not place the pearls in silver dip. A silver dip may be used occasionally on the sterling silver flowers only, following the product instructions carefully before rinsing and drying completely.
