Olivia Dryden is an Adelaide-based contemporary jewellery artist whose work explores natural history, memory, mortality and the beauty found in organic forms. Working across sterling silver, natural specimens, animal bone, pearls and mixed media, her practice encompasses wearable jewellery, bespoke archival works, memorial and keepsake jewellery, drawing and sculptural installation.

Is the jewellery displayed in the portfolio available to purchase?

Some portfolio pieces may still be available, while others are exhibition works, one-of-a-kind pieces or examples of previously completed jewellery. Current pieces available for purchase can be found in the online shop.

Does Olivia currently accept jewellery commissions?

Olivia is not currently accepting engagement ring, wedding jewellery or general bespoke commissions. Memorial and keepsake jewellery enquiries may be considered selectively, depending on the proposed piece and current studio availability.

What is memorial and keepsake jewellery?

Memorial and keepsake jewellery transforms a meaningful personal item, such as a baby tooth, pet tooth, hair or another small treasured object, into a lasting piece of jewellery. Each piece is individually discussed and designed with sensitivity.

Does Olivia also create visual art?

Yes. Alongside her jewellery practice, Olivia creates drawing, wall-based work, sculpture and installations exploring natural history, memory, mortality and collected materials.
